Shimite Obialo is an investor, business advisor, attorney and public speaker. She is a contributor for Black Enterprise and has eight years of experience as a corporate finance attorney in New York City structuring million and billion-dollar M&A and venture capital financing transactions at corporate firms Arnold & Porter Kaye Scholer and Lowenstein Sandler and as General Counsel of a private equity fund, Trident. She now runs Suites Capital - an angel syndicate for entrepreneurs and executives who are interested in co-investing together in exciting venture opportunities, particularly supporting minority and women-led companies.
