Join us for a six-week virtual series, Candid Conversations About Angel Investing, as we invite top angel investors and venture capitalists to share their expertise on early-stage investing, with the Suites Capital community. No prior experience needed, new investors are welcome!! $25 Registration fee.
We aim to demystify the art of angel investing and answer questions like: What type of returns can you actually make angel investing? Where do you go, to find great opportunities? What do you look for in a founder before deciding to invest? What sort of due diligence should be be doing before pulling the trigger? What investor rights and protections do you negotiate before closing the deal? What are some top deals that you can invest in right now?
Our featured investors include: Ben Pidgeon (VisionTech Angels), Mina Black (RainMaker Collective), Karen Robinson (TiE Angels), Nihal Mehta (Eniac Ventures), Kai Bond (Courtside Ventures), Morgan Simon (Candide Group), and Lorine Pendleton (Portfolia). We also welcome Boye Fajinmi, Co-Founder, The Future Party, and Corein Carter, Contributor at Forbes, who along with Shimite Obialo, Managing Partner at Suites Capital and Contributor at Black Enterprise, will be going deep with our investors to learn the great secrets of investing!
Our goal for this series is to introduce new investors to the art of early-stage investing, share deal flow and network together. Following each conversation, our featured investors will share select investment opportunities available for co-investment and we will also have an opportunity for general networking among guests. This six-part series will take place weekly on Wednesdays at 6:30 – 7:30pm ET, beginning October 26th – December 7th.
