On September 9th, 5 – 7pm, Suites Capital will host its second annual mixer for investors and art collectors, at the Art on Paper Art Fair in New York City, Pier 36. This year, we are proud to be collaborating with the Angel Capital Association and the Making of Black Angels. This exclusive event will feature an open bar with hors d’oeuvres at the Mezzanine Level of Art on Paper, and offer an opportunity for guests to mingle, share insights on the current investment landscape and enjoy some beautiful art!
About Suites Capital
Suites Capital is an investment community helping angel investors maximize returns and access top tier deal flow. We host weekly educational events to help new investors master the art of venture capital and angel investing. And we curate investor breakfasts and tasting experiences quarterly, for our members to make invaluable connections with each other, and meet top entrepreneurs. Suites Capital was founded by Shimite Obialo, a business advisor and attorney with eight years of experience structuring million and billion-dollar M&A and venture capital financing transactions in New York City. Prior to the Suites, Shimite ran an arts-focused membership community called Anoko, curating art shows and mixers around the City for diverse professionals.

The Making of Black Angels is an initiative founded by Jill Johnson, launched in partnership with the Institute for EntrepreneurialLeadership (IFEL), designed to increase the number of black angel investors. The program focuses on increasing awareness about angel investing and engaging the angel community in a dialog about inclusion, and generating thought-leadership on inclusion within the investor ecosystem.
